GITEX Nigeria 2026 will take place from 7 to 10 September 2026, with events hosted in Abuja and Lagos, bringing together government leaders, global technology companies, financial institutions, startups and investors to advance digital transformation across West Africa.
Positioned as a major technology and business platform for the region, the event aims to connect organisations across the digital ecosystem, from multinational technology firms to public sector agencies and emerging innovators.
The programme will begin on 7 September in Abuja with the GITEX Nigeria Government Leadership and AI Summit, where government officials and global technology executives are expected to discuss artificial intelligence, digital governance and innovation-led public sector transformation.
Activities will then move to Lagos on 9 and 10 September. At the Eko Hotel, GITEX Nigeria will host leading technology companies and industry stakeholders, with firms such as IBM, MTN, Cisco and Space42 expected to participate alongside businesses seeking opportunities in West Africa’s growing digital economy.
At the Landmark Centre, the event will focus on entrepreneurship and investment by bringing together startups, investors and buyers. Organisers say the venue will serve as a hub for networking, partnerships and business development within the region’s innovation ecosystem.
The programme will conclude on 10 September with FDX Nigeria at the Eko Hotel, a platform dedicated to promoting financial inclusion and exploring new opportunities for digital finance across West Africa.
According to the organisers, GITEX Nigeria is designed to unite the region’s digital ecosystem under one platform, connecting global technology providers with more than 150 federal and state agencies, over 40 banking institutions and a wide range of businesses seeking large-scale digital transformation solutions.
