Yas Tanzania has officially launched Yas Business, a new business-focused service aimed at helping companies across Tanzania improve their digital operations and grow within the country’s expanding digital economy.
The launch event brought together government officials, company executives, business leaders, and technology partners to discuss the role of digital solutions in supporting enterprise development and economic growth.
Kitila Mkumbo attended the event as Guest of Honour alongside senior leaders from Yas Tanzania and partner organisations.
Executives present at the launch included Yas Tanzania Chief Executive Officer Pierre Canton-Bacara, Yas Business Chief Business Officer Norman Kiondo, Abdul-Rahman Ahmed, and Chief Technology and Information Officer Emmanuel Mallya.
During the event, company leaders said Yas Business was created to deliver tailored digital solutions that help businesses improve efficiency, expand operations, and remain competitive in a rapidly changing market.
According to the company, the platform is designed to support enterprises with digital tools and services that can help them manage operations more effectively while opening access to new growth opportunities.
The launch also served as a platform for discussions with business leaders and strategic partners as Yas Tanzania works to deepen collaboration with the private sector and increase access to digital services nationwide.
Yas Tanzania said the introduction of Yas Business reflects its broader goal of supporting long-term economic development through technology-driven innovation and digital transformation.
The company added that empowering businesses with modern digital solutions will play an important role in strengthening Tanzania’s business environment and supporting the country’s wider digital economy ambitions.
