AI-Powered Hieroglyphics Project Wins Recognition

One of the standout achievements at the Huawei ICT Competition 2026 was the “Maneto” project, an innovative solution that uses artificial intelligence to translate ancient hieroglyphic texts.

The project gained international recognition for combining advanced AI technologies with cultural preservation, demonstrating how emerging technologies can help protect and promote Egypt’s historical heritage.

Egyptian Educator Receives Global Award

Beyond the student achievements, Mohamed Maher from October 6 University received the “Most Valuable Instructor” award.

The recognition honours educators who make outstanding contributions to student development and technology education within the competition.

Strengthening Egypt’s Digital Talent Ecosystem

ITIDA said the results reflect the strength of Egypt’s technology talent pipeline and the country’s continued investment in digital skills development.

The agency noted that success at the Huawei ICT Competition 2026 demonstrates Egypt’s growing ability to produce globally competitive technology professionals capable of contributing to innovation-driven industries.
