About the QEPrize 2027
The Queen Elizabeth Prize for Innovation in Engineering honours outstanding engineering innovations from anywhere in the world. The award highlights engineers whose work has produced major technological or societal change.
Importantly, the prize is open to individuals of any nationality. In addition, nominations can include up to 10 engineers who contributed directly to the innovation.
Eligibility Requirements
To qualify for the QEPrize 2027, nominees must:
- Be living individuals of any nationality
- Be personally responsible for a groundbreaking engineering innovation
- Demonstrate that the innovation has delivered global impact
- Show that the innovation created substantial and lasting benefits for humanity
