Tech With Africa is a digital media company that decentralizes tech information, builds capacity, and localizes tech concepts for African communities.

Topics We Welcome
We are a niche tech platform. All paid guest posts must fit our audience and editorial focus. We currently accept:
- African tech news and analysis (startups, funding, innovation hubs, accelerators, VC).
- Fintech, payments, digital banking, and financial inclusion.
- Tech careers, skills, and education (training, bootcamps, remote work, upskilling).
- Information technology, cloud, dev tools, enterprise solutions.
- Cybersecurity and data protection.
- Internet of Things, AI, data, and deep tech.
- Gadgets and product reviews relevant to African users.
- Company spotlights and founder stories in the tech space.
- Events, programs, and opportunities for African tech talent.
- All content must be accurate, helpful, and relevant to African readers and/or the African tech ecosystem.
Topics We Do Not Accept
To protect our readers and brand, we do not publish paid guest posts in these categories:
- Gambling, betting, casinos, lotteries, or related comparison sites (including online and crypto‑based platforms).
- Adult content of any kind, including explicit content, nudity, “18+” entertainment, adult dating, escort services, or sexually suggestive material.
- Alcohol, tobacco, vaping, recreational drugs, or products that promote substance use.
- Payday loans, loan sharks, high‑interest lending, “quick cash” schemes, or aggressive debt products.
- Unregulated or overly speculative financial products, including get‑rich‑quick schemes, HYIPs, Ponzi‑style programs, or similar.
- Hacking tools, black‑hat SEO, spam software, data‑scraping tools that violate platform policies, or any illegal/grey‑hat services.
- Content that promotes hate, discrimination, or attacks individuals or groups on the basis of religion, ethnicity, gender, or similar grounds.
- Weapons, violent content, or militarized services.
- Occult practices, spells, witchcraft, fortune telling, or similar.
- Any content that is illegal, misleading, or dishonest in our target markets.
We reserve the right to decline any topic or website that does not align with our values or editorial standards, even if it is not listed above.
Content and Quality Requirements
We maintain the same quality bar for paid content as for regular editorial pieces:
- Articles should typically be between 1,000 and 2,000 words, in clear, simple English.
- Content must be 100% original, not published elsewhere, and must pass plagiarism checks.
- Provide practical, actionable value for tech founders, operators, professionals, or students (not just sales copy).
- No keyword‑stuffed or AI‑spun content; we may ask for revisions if the quality is not acceptable.
- Up to 2–3 contextual links are allowed:
- At most 2 do‑follow links to your site or client (same brand).
- Additional relevant authority links (e.g. research, news) are encouraged.
- All claims (data, statistics, quotes) must be properly referenced with credible sources.
- We may lightly edit headlines, structure, or wording to fit our style and improve clarity.
Placement Types And Pricing
All prices are starting rates; complex topics or heavy editing needs may incur a small surcharge. Benchmarks from the wider guest post market (where tech posts often sit between ~180–350 USD on mid‑tier sites) have informed our pricing, but we keep our rates founder‑friendly.
1. Standard Sponsored Article – 120 USD
- 1,000–1,500 words.
- Up to 2 do‑follow links to one brand/domain.
- One author bio (with 1 no‑follow link to your profile or company).
- Published in a relevant category (e.g. Startups, Fintech, Infotech).
- Standard publishing window: up to 7 business days after payment and final approval.
2. Premium Sponsored Feature – 150 USD
- Everything in the Standard Sponsored Article, plus:
- Priority review and 48‑hour publishing after payment and final approval (subject to calendar availability).
- Featured on the homepage for at least 3 days (theme‑dependent).
- Consideration for inclusion in our email newsletter or social media channels (not guaranteed but we do our best).
Optional add‑ons
- Extra do‑follow link to the same brand (beyond the first 2): +30 USD.
- Additional brand/domain (e.g. agency adding multiple clients in one piece): +50 USD per extra brand, subject to approval.
- You can display prices in multiple currencies on the page, for example:

Payment Process
To keep things simple and transparent, we follow this process:
1. Pitch approval: Send your topic idea(s) and target URL(s) for approval (see next section).
2. Invoice: Once approved, we’ll confirm the final price and send an invoice.
3. Payment methods: We currently accept:

- PayPal (international clients).
- Bank transfer (Nigeria/UK) – details provided on invoice.
- Other options (e.g. Paystack/Flutterwave) can be arranged on request.
4. Proof of payment: Send your payment confirmation (screenshot or transaction ID) by email so we can match it quickly.
5. Publishing: We schedule the article after payment is received and the final draft is approved.

How To Pitch And Submit
Step 1: Submit your draft
Send the full article as a Google Doc to techwithafrica@gmail.com, with sharing set to “Anyone with the link can edit,” as per your current guidelines.
Include:
- Title.
- Article body.
- Author name and bio (50–80 words), with one link.
- We may request edits for clarity, quality, or alignment with our audience.
Step 2: Review, payment, and publishing
We’ll review the draft, confirm any final edits, and send your invoice.
Once payment is received, we schedule the article within:
- 7 business days (Standard), or
- 48 hours (Premium, subject to availability).
We will share the live URL with you once it is published.
